"Chimera: An imaginary monster made up of grotesquely disparate parts." Until now...

Another beastly map that almost melted my brain trying to make. Chimera has a radical concept of having 4 entirely different bases. Although this has been done before, it's never been done to this extent. Each base has its own weakness, and perk. (Stats listed on the back wall of every base). These are not normal bases though. Think of them as super-bases (I always thought bases should be more fortified). Players have to strategically attack or defend each others bases, and no base will require the same config for flagging, so things will get interesting.

Another unique concept I came up with is a 'defense outpost'. Think of it as a minibase of sorts. In each corner of the map lies a fort that has teamcons in it for full module-loading and tank-switching capabilities. However, inside are also 3 neutral cons, and when teams take over these outposts, they become a foothold position. They can function as a refuge for teams on the run, or if a team is being ramped they can cham out to their outpost, switch tanks, and flank the enemy rampers.

Enjoy the biggest future success/failure Tanarus will ever see.

Nice layout and texturing. The ramps in the center have wedge points where tanks will get stuck.

Alot of glitches were used in this map to make the bases unique in style and function. Here's their stats:

Red Base: An average well rounded base. Some guns are easy to snipe, while others are near-impossible. The flag route isnt too hard, but not easy.

Blue Base: Incredibly easy to down its guns, and an almost free flag when its centered. However the major perk about this base is the flag-room: A room where blue team can place the flag that is 100% impossible for enemies to get.

Green Base: Basically a fortress of guns. With its guns, no tank will be able to flag it whatsoever, centered or not. Without its guns, its basically an in-and-out with the flag, so long as its centered.

Grey Base: Difficult to down its guns, but there are only 3 of them, and its unlikely a tank will die from stabbing. The unique perk of this base is that it takes an extended amount of time to get the flag out of the base itself, giving the grey team more time to get back and rescue their flag.
